Poetry of the Soul

Poetry is thoughts that breathe, and words that burn. ~Thomas Gray

Can I help you? July 7, 2010

Filed under: poetry — laurenmichelleotheim @ 11:16 pm

All work and no play
sends the poetry away
five words a day
“Hididyoufindeverythingok?”
“Good!” (could equally be substituted for “OhI’msorryIcancallguestservicesandseeifwehaveit!”)
“Wouldyouliketokeepyourcoathangers?”
“Yourtotalis_______”
“Haveagoodday!”
Water
GASP
I NEED water
too many people with too little to say
makes you wonder about consumerism today
why do they shop if they don’t want to pay?
