Poetry of the Soul

Poetry is thoughts that breathe, and words that burn. ~Thomas Gray

Big brother is watching you

With an ice cold stare

No emotion on his brow

Or feeling in his eyes.

Death lurks in every corner

A sweet release of pain

A tyranny of lawlessness

Rules throughout the land

What is it to die?

To seal your fate eternal?

When living lives of thoughtlessness

Has destroyed your soul forever?
